The Peacebuilding and Development Institute in Sri Lanka (PDI-SL) is recruiting for the challenging post of Director to lead the development of this new and ambitious organisation.
Launched in 2007 to bridge the gap between peacebuilding and development in South Asia PDI-SL is a unique programme designed to strengthen the skills and capacities of professionals working in conflict-affected areas in South Asia through the provision of training programmes for professionals, bespoke capacity building support to organisations and a research programme focused on peacebuilding and development in the region.
The Director will have a strong background in networking, developing and expanding organisations, fundraising and training and learning for practitioners in the development and peacebuilding field. The Director will have the exciting challenge of diversifying PDI-SL’s outreach, training programme and fundraising base to become a leading training and learning organisation in South Asia.
